2 T. bacon drippings
2 T. butter or oil
3 C. finely shredded cabbage
Chopped onion
1/2 C. finely chopped green pepper
1 C. cooked wild rice
2 C. tomato pulp or thick stewed tomatoes
Salt and pepper
Melt drippings and butter; stir in cabbage, onion and green pepper. Simmer, covered; for about 10 minutes. Fold in remaining ingredients; heat well.
Yield: 6 servings.
