3 C. chicken broth
1/3 lb uncooked wild rice
1/2 C. chopped green onions
1/2 C. half and half
2 T. flour
1/4 C. red wine
Combine broth and rice, bring to boil, cover and simmer 1 hour. Stir in onions and carrots in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Add the half and half, and the flour, stir and cook another 5 minutes, then add the red wine.
Makes 4 delicious servings.
