1/2 C. Wild rice, uncooked
2 C. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla or coconut flavoring
1/2 C. Raisins
Preheat oven to 350*.
Cook milk, 3/4 tsp. salt, and wild rice in a double boiler until done (1hour).
In a mixing bowl, mix eggs, sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, vanilla and raisins. Fold in rice. Pour in buttered baking dish. Top with nutmeg. Place baking dish in a pan of water. Bake for 1 hour or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
